CHRISTMAS IN NEW YORK

Tomorrow is the big day! My daughter is excited about spending the holidays with her friend. I still can't believe that we actually found a babysitter during Christmastime. My boyfriend and I need a vacation to ourselves this year. It looks like we're going to get that well-deserved break. I'm so excited! Her friend has a large family, so we are buying a turkey and a ham, too. We are delighted that we are able to give back to another family during the holidays. 

We will be staying at The Lowes Regency Hotel https://www.loewshotels.com/regency-hotel/.

This is #travelforreal. It's going to be amazing!! At the Loews Regency, I read that there will be a towering tree like the image. It was created by design directors at Nate Berkus Associates. It will have gold ornaments, feathers and a large white peacock. Some southeastern Asian cultures the peacock brings happiness. The most exciting part is that there will be a complementary hot chocolate happy hour daily from 4-6pm by chocolatier Jacques Torres during December. There are also, robes and pajamas by Kate Spade in its "signature suites," carolers in the lobby, and Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners at The Regency Bar and Grill. We have a ton of other plans, like many fancy restaurants and Broadway shows! I can't wait to try that hot chocolate, though!! I want it bad!

This is going to be the best vacation ever! Someone is definitely ready for this trip. I left the room and I found her here. Ha!

• Minutes away, until our vacation!!! Zzzquil to the rescue. I need to ready for my town car for 4 a.m. Woohoo! 
• This was a short flight. We made it! My phone started tripping, so I will have have to wait to start posting pics. May just be the blogger app.
• Take my word for it, Uber is the way to travel in New York.
• We just had some burgers. We walked in a circle and then realized the burger place was right down the street. The GPS was even wrong. Hilarious.
• Right as we were leaving the restaurant, we got the call that our room was ready. It feels so good to finally unpack! Aaaaah! In a few minutes, I'm going to the spa for a manicure and a pedicure. 
• Sitting in Daniel's having fun. The food is interesting. A bit hoity toity. I found the bread to be the best part. You would think, it's just bread...it isn't. It's tasty! Prepare yourself for a white wine disaster, though. I told them that I disliked white wine, but they kept pushing us to drink it. Secondly, I think its stupid to mix white wine with red wine. I never want to go back ever and I won't. It was an 8 course meal fit for a barbie doll. Seriously! We came back to our room and ordered room service. Ridiculous.

RETURNING to NEW YORK CITY for CHRISTMAS VACATION 2016

     I've been sitting around thinking about how I could be more informative about the trip I am taking with my boyfriend. We apparently are going to New York for the holidays, so we know that this is going to be very exciting! We have many adventures planned for us. Instead, of posting multiple pictures on different websites, we have decided to blog about every restaurant and venue that we will attend, so that is what is to come. It will be a gastronomical adventure!! Look forward to our conveyance of our many adventures that are to come!!!!
